Driving Position Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

  • Class B or higher with Passenger (P) endorsement.

Minimum Driving Experience

  • At least 2 years of commercial driving experience, with motorcoaches or buses.

Clean Driving Record

  • No major traffic violations, DUIs, or at-fault accidents within the past 3 years.

DOT Medical Certification

  • Must pass and maintain a current Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.

Knowledge of Federal and State Regulations

  • Familiarity with FMCSA and DOT regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS).

Professional Appearance and Communication Skills

  • Ability to interact courteously and effectively with clients, ensuring excellent customer service.

Ability to Pass Background Check and Drug Screening

  • Compliance with pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing policies.

Strong Safety Record

  • Commitment to safe driving practices and passenger safety.

Flexible Schedule

  • Willingness to work variable hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Ability to Perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections

  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance checks to ensure buses meet safety standards.

Physical Ability

  • Capability to load/unload luggage and assist passengers as needed.

Team-Oriented Attitude

  • Works well with dispatchers, fellow drivers, and company staff to provide seamless service.
